Cross-Federated P4 Research Testbed for Wide-Area Programmable Networking Experiments
At the P4 Workshop 2025, the National Research Platform (NRP) presented its ongoing work on enabling wide-area programmable networking research through a federated infrastructure of advanced computing and networking resources. The presentation, “Cross-Federated P4 Research Testbed for Wide-Area Programmable Networking Experiments,” highlighted how NRP supports P4, SmartNIC, FPGA, and DPU-based experimentation at national and international scale.
